5.0 out of 5 stars Amazingly comfortable, April 4, 2013

Update - I have had these for 3 trips now, and they finally tore on this last one. They made it through 3 trips out of country, in salt water and stored for a year at a time then used non stop for 3 weeks to walk over cement, wood decks and sand and be worn in my flippers. I feel they were a great value and will be purchasing another pair.

Sizing was spot on, and comfort was amazing.

If you do not have adjustable fins you might need to go up a size if you are going from barefoot to wearing these.

I purchased the medium size 8/9 on these. Fins when barefoot non adjustable I wear a 7/8 mens. With these I needed to bump up to a 9/10 mens.

I wore them on the street, walkways and sand, and found them very comfortalbe, gel like. Not a hard bottom so not good for glass or jagged areas. Awesome for sand/ normal streets and walkways.

3.0 out of 5 stars OK on the shore, maybe, October 21, 2015

I wear a women's size 9.5, so I bought the small, which says it is for men's size 6-7 and women's size 8-9. When I put them on, they seem to be the right fit--the bottom of my foot matches the bottom of the sock pretty exactly--my foot may be a tad larger. However, when I go into the water with these, they fill up with water and almost pull off. In a fin, of course, the fin strap holds the sock on, but without that, these are pretty annoying. I'm no expert, but after having Googled quite a bit on it, the most common reason people said fin socks would take on water is because they are too big. What I think the actual problem with these is, is that they don't come up high enough, so the opening around the ankle is too big, which results in water getting caught inside. Because they don't come up very high, they also don't protect the back of the ankle from the fin straps, so I ended up with chewed up ankles after one practice session with these.

Purchased for my girlfriend, great nice snug fit, keeps the sand out of our feet, great for walking on hot pavement after parking the car, before and after droping the gear off, performed well on beach and boat dives..
